Safiya Rahmat
Partner and mediator
Safiya handles custody and support cases, and mediates for couples who would rather decide together than in court.
Before law school Safiya taught fourth grade in Lowell, and she still thinks about a custody plan from the child’s side of the calendar first. She joined Roderick as a partner in 2015.
She completed family mediation training in 2014 and now runs most of the firm’s mediations, as well as its parenting-plan and support modification cases.
